“Let food be they medicine, and let thy medicine be food”.
World food day is celebrated every year across the world on 16th October.
In order to make the children aware of the importance of saving food and understanding nutritional values and healthier diet the toddlers were made to parade holding the placards with slogans.
Children performed a classroom activity by pasting grains and pulses on the food pyramid. Smart board content on health benefits that are present in traditional food items was played.
Children were excited when the food was served by their teacher in a traditional way which filled them with love, joy and happiness. Together they had a overwhelmed feast.
